This talk started with a great discussion of the challenges and benefits of online teaching and learning. The presenters discuss remote teaching tools explaining the characteristics of effective tools. These tools should, for example, be easy to use, offer assessment, include self-regulated learning and interaction.
The presenters move on to present the McGraw New Ineractions, a five level EAP series for students studying at Higher Education institutes requiring English as part of their studies (EAP).
The presenters offered a one-month trial for TESOL participants which I signed up for. Once the platform is explored, this post will be updated with more details regarding alignment with EAP courses in the Israeli HEI.
